“Chindwin-PSB Institute and IDP Education, co-owner of the IELTS, sign an agreement to facilitate test takers from Myanmar”

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular high-stakes English language proficiency test. It is recognised by more than 11,000 organisations, including educational institutions, employers, professional associations and governments, in more than 140 countries around the world.

IELTS is highly sought after in Myanmar and now the co-owner of IELTS, IDP Education, has successfully signed an agreement with the prestigious education entity Chindwin-PSB Institute to deliver Computer-Delivered tests locally first. The agreement will help IELTS test-takers to conveniently book their test dates and all four skills of the tests can be completed on the same day. The results are delivered to the test takers and those who are not satisfied with their score can retake the test within a short period of time.

IELTS on Paper was launched in October 2022. Listening, Reading and Writing sessions can be completed on the same day but Speaking session may not and it can be varied according to the availability. The results will be released after 13 working days of the test date.

Chindwin-PSB Institute is the first-ever IDP-approved IELTS test centre in Myanmar. The centre has launched a Computer-Delivered test as the first step to provide a seamless service to test takers and Paper-Based tests introduced as we promised. In order to stay engaged with the test-takers, the centre will provide information regarding to the IELTS tests, including test format, guidelines, and tactics on how to excel in the test.

Payment Method (Cash Payment)

Kindly make the payment at our office located at Sinmalite Business Tower, First Floor Corner of Kyimyindaing Kannar Road and Hanthar Waddy Road, Yangon.

After the payment is completed, kindly check your registration email for the confirmation message.

Another email reminder will be sent to you 3 days prior to the test date.

Getting your results

You can check your test results through our secure online portal after the test before coming to collect your Test Report Form (TRF). We will inform you via your desired communication channel when the results are ready.

Test day transfers and cancellations
