Course overview
The Master of Science in Civil Engineering programme covers areas of study that govern the understanding of how environmental factors influence infrastructural development in cities. Topics include learning about the environmental impact on planning, designing, constructing and managing large-scale public works. Issues such as pollution, public health and resources management will also be examined to understand the impact they make on the built environment. In this programme, students can specialise in any of these areas to pursue a design project on: earthquake, environmental, geotechnical, and structural engineering.

What you will learn and experience
In this course, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn how to address complex construction project problems;
- Create your own civil engineering design project and complete an independent research project;
- Carry out materials and structures testing, fluid flow modeling and soil investigation;
- Apply theories and skills to address real issues at the workplace, as part of Chindwin-PSB’s partnership with industry partners.

1.5 years, 270 contact hours (including 80 hours of project)
